Stomme call outs / Stupid call outs

Ik sta weer ingedeeld in Prestwick. Gelukkig ben ik niet alleen hier want Bolette H. is hier ook ingedeeld. Inmiddels heeft zij gisteren het bericht gehad dat ze haar lijncheck mag gaan doen vandaag. Ben wel erg blij voor haar maar benijdt haar ook wel omdat ik ook wel graag klaar wil zijn. Sta weer de hele week ingedeeld met John T. alleen vandaag heb ik een standby en dit is dan ook de dag dat Bolette haar lijncheck met hem heeft. Ik had wel een goeie dag gisteren. Helaas waren de call outs van het vliegtuig defect dus de 50, 40, 30, 20 en 10 feet die je normaal gesproken hoort en die ik gebruik om te landen waren er af en toe niet wat het landen behoorlijk moeilijk maakt. Maar des al niet te min waren de landingen erg goed en volgens John T. gaat het nu vooral om mijn eigen vertrouwen dat ik veilig kan landen in elke situatie.

I am scheduled again in Prestwick this week. Luckily I am not alone here cause Bolette H. is here as well. Meanwhilst she got the message yesterday she can have her linecheck today. I am very happy for her and envy her as well since I would love to be ready too. I am scheduled the whole week with John T. again and today I am having a standby which is convenient for Bolette cause she is having her linecheck with him today. I had a good day yesterday though. Unfortunately the call outs from the aircraft where erratic. The usual 50, 40, 30, 20 and 10 feet call where not always present as they should be. I use these call outs for the landing technique so it made it quite difficult to land without them. Despite that my landings where very good according to John T. and now it all comes to my own trust in me being able to land the aircraft safe at all times.
