Eerste vluchten:D!/First flights :D!
Hallo allemaal,
Pffffffffff wat een dagen.
Het was zo ontzettend gaaf.
Elke dag vier sectoren van ongeveer één uur of minder.
De eerste dag naar Inverness en Dublin op en neer vanuit East Midlands.
Nick D. de base captain was mijn eerste trainer en hij liet me drie sectoren vliegen maar ik kon er geen één landen vanwege het ontzettende slechte weer.
Hij bleek onder de indruk te zijn van het snelle opzetten van de kist.
De eerste landing was op een zo danig korte landingsbaan dat zelfs de captain en co-pilot dachten dat het er om spande om het einde.
Ik heb niet echt papier werk gedaan en had het gevoel dat mijn hoofd tolde zo snel als alles ging. De tweede dag was met dezelfde instructeur deze keer naar Knock en Dublin vanuit East Midlands Hij vertelde dat die wat strenger zou zijn en dat merkte ik wel een beetje. Mijn RT was niet zo geweldig en had moeite met terug lezen van klaringen als het ging om taxiën enzo. Daarnaast was ik niet echt een ster in het onthouden van wind richtingen had het gevoel dat alles nog steeds aan me voorbij ging. Wel weer drie sectoren gevlogen waarvan twee landingen en één autoland dat houdt in met twee autopiloten. Daarbij waren we met elke sector ruim op tijd dus ik zorgen in ieder geval niet voor vertraging.
Mijn eerste landing met passagiers was uiteindelijk dus op Knock en ik begreep dat dat een lastig veld was om op te landen maar dat het weer gunstig voor me was wow het was gaaf om te landen en vooral het idee :D
De derde dag vloog ik met Ulrick H. een Deense captain die erg vriendelijk was we vlogen net als de eerste dag naar Inverness en Dublin vanuit East Midlands.
Ik merkte aan mijzelf dat dingen al wat ontspanner gingen. Ik deed de middelste twee sectoren en ik heb de RT gedaan en het ging al iets beter.
Daarnaast ook nog tijd gevonden om wat te eten want dat was op de dagen ervoor soms ver te zoeken haha.
De captain was onder de indruk van wat ik had geleerd in zo’n korte periode.
Hij schreef uitmuntende progressie en hou dit vast.
Dat was erg leuk om te horen dus ik hoop dat ik dat weet vast te houden inderdaad.
Volgende week weer naar East Midlands en ik zal jullie op de hoogte houden.

Pfffffffffff what a week.
It was so incredible cool!
Every day four sectors from about one hour or less even.
The first day was to Inverness and Dublin out of East Midlands.
I flew with Nick. D the base captain of East midlands. He made me fly three sectors and flew one himself. Though the landings where out of my hands since the wind was way to hard for me to fly. Even for him the landing on Inverness was exciting since it was so short that we almost ran out of runway length.
He seemed to be impressed of the fast set-up of the aircraft though.
I did not do any paperwork at all since my head already was overflowing from everything and I felt like I did not even had a split second to have a break. The second day was also with the same captain due to illness of another one. We went to Knock and Dublin this time out of East Midlands. Once again I flew three sectors and landed two manual landings and one autoland. Which means with two autopilots.
My first landing was at Knock which is normally a hard runway to land on but I managed together with the captain though. He said Knock was friendly for me though if it concerned the weather. But it was so cool especially the whole idea of it :D. He told me he would be harder on me though and I really noticed that. My RT was not so good and I had some problems reading back clearances especially if it concerned taxiing and things like that. As well as I was not very good in remembering the wind direction.
Still noticed my head was overflowing. But on all sectors we landed ahead on time so at least I did not delay the flights hehe.
The third day I flew with Ulrick H. a Danish captain he also was very nice. We flew the same sectors as I had the first day which was Inverness and Dublin up and down from East Midlands.
I did the middle two sectors and I noticed I was already doing better then before.
I was more relaxed and even managed to eat something this time hehehe. I was not really able to the days before.
My RT was already a bit better so I hope that will only improve more and more.
As well as I did the paperwork this time.
Well the Captain was impressed.
He wrote in the report excellent progress and keep up the very good work.
So that is nice to hear and I hope I am able to indeed.
Next week I am going to East midlands again.
